Providing Awareness and Access to Mental Health Resources for All Communities
#ShedShame around mental health
Hear from some of our panelists and ambassadors…
Mental Wellness program supported by our partners NAMI, Maybelline, and Talkspace
Through a programmatic tour of the short ‘Blackbird’ and a celebrity panel discussion partnering with actor, influencer, NFL, and NBA mental health advocates, the event encourages and empowers participants to confront mental health struggles in their lives that may be causing them shame in order to give those situations less power, and provides participants with local, national, and [campus – when doing college outreach] resources to begin the journey toward recovery and self-acceptance.
PROJECT BLACKBIRD is a 501(c)3 organization that works to de-stigmatize eating disorder and mental health conversation within underrepresented communities.
