What We Do
PROJECT BLACKBIRD brings national K–12 and college programs that unite storytelling, celebrity role models, and mental health resources—providing free therapy and connecting national and local mental health resources for students in need.
A Touring Program to #ShedShame around mental health
Our Impact
Mental Wellness program supported by our partners NAMI, and Talkspace
Through a national tour of the short film Blackbird and live panel discussions featuring actors, influencers, and NFL/NBA mental health advocates, each event creates space for honest and meaningful conversations.
Participants are encouraged to confront the struggles they may carry in silence—transforming shame into connection and understanding.
Each experience also includes a resource fair with local, national, and campus organizations, along with access to a full year of free therapy for student participants.
PROJECT BLACKBIRD is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to destigmatizing mental health through immersive, touring programs.
